My computer results in high ping when pinging to the default gateway

when i ping to the default gateway my ping is a constant 100ms (sometimes goes down to 30 ms but very rarely) i think this is the reason i am getting ping spikes in games. there are also 2 more computers in the house running on these TP-link Adapters and my brothers pc (also used for gaming) never lags.

Please help

Are you on wireless? If you are, how far are you from the router? Is the PC that never lags also on wireless? If it is, is it closer?

That ping time is very high for a Ethernet cable connection but can be normal for a slower wireless connection with several wireless devices working.

Did you try rebooting the router?
