I was trying connect WDC WD400 hard drive and DVD rom to a Asus P5K SE motherboard. I figure d that hard drive only works when it is connected alone without DVD rom. But when I connect both, hard drive just stops working. It is still recognized in bios, but it doesn't boot. I have tried two different DVD roms, one even makes hard drive unrecognizable. I don't know what is going on?
