Insert cd labeled "windows xp sp3", help.

I'm tring to clean install windows xp sp3. But when files loading complete it shows " insert cd labelled windows xp sp3 press enter when ready". Then can't install. I'm booting windows xp from usb drive. And i have the WIN51 files.
Already have windows 7.

Please help

Windows 7 ultimate
768 mb ram
intel pentium 4 2.80ghz

Make sure your flash drive is plugged into your computer when you start up XP. Where did you get the XP files from though to create the bootable flash drive?

and my flash drive can load data of windows xp. so maybe may drive is plugged correctly.

There is likely your issue, get a valid disk. Why would you install XP which is much less secure now than 7 when you have 7 installed already? Not a good idea. You also really need to upgrade RAM to at least 2 gig, with a P4 and under 1 gig of RAM the computer will be very slow.

I agree, your torrent is probably corrupt. Either way, Windows 7 Professional/Enterprise/Ultimate all include the option of having a virtual machine installed called "Windows XP mode". It runs a genuine version of Windows XP that you can use to run legacy applications if you need it. Windows 7 (or 10 if you're looking to upgrade) are both great OS's that you really should look into purchasing/upgrading to.

I don't want to spend money on this pc because my motherboad don't have pci express x16 port for graphic card. i'm trying to get little good performance from this pc. thats why i'm trying to install windows xp.
is xp mode can help me ? or any other solution please ?

If you're looking for performance, Windows XP won't do anything for your. Windows 7 will preform better. Upgrading your RAM and throwing a SDD in there will really help with performance too. WinXPMode is just a virtual machine (a computer inside a computer) that can be used to run legacy programs.

Actually my problem is i was able to play max payne 1, far cry 1 and some other game when xp installed on my pc. but for some reason i installed windows 7 ultimate. now on windows 7, i cant play any game. and recently i installed 2 sticks of ddr1 ram and other ram slots of motherboard are damaged. thats why i want to install windows xp.
i don't have any graphical support for pc.
please help.

What errors are you getting when you try to install the games? I have MaxPayne working on my Windows 10 computer right now, but I had to adjust some compatibility settings for it to work.

it does not show any error. when i try to open, just screen blink and return to window.
happening for all games except counter strike.

You need to right click on the executable and navigate the the compatibility tab. You will have to play with the checkboxes to get the game to work.

1) Google the name of your game and "how to play on Windows 7". I am sure you will find something that will point you in the right direction.

or 2) Get a proper copy of Windows XP and reinstall that to get your games working.
