and my problem is i only get in 4k 3840x2160 30hz!! i am using windows 10 i tried to rolled back to 8 and 7 nothing help & still max 30hz! with my DISPLAY PORT cables

i have display-port cables like AMD suggested to buy in this site :

http://www.displayport.org/cables/how-to-choose-a-displayport-cable-and-not-get-a-bad-one/

&

GUIDE TO 4K DISPLAY CONNECTIONS

i am really dis-pointed since i didn't had problem at all with my TV - with my last nvidia card (gtx 960) i got 60hz in 3840X2160 in 4k with no problem i am using very high quality 4k DISPLAY PORT cables (tried 4 of them

please help me fix it

i also tried EDID my monitor driver to another monitor manufacture with 4k support with no success to get 60hz , amd drivers still detect Panasonic tv , even if i disabled windows drivers signature checks (F7)

thank you

MAYBE I NEED BIOS UPDATE?

Could have sworn your post included HDMI 2.0 stuff in it. i see it's been edited sense i posted so i have no idea what’s changed. Either way...

Poking around, it seems like 60Hz is a finicky thing to get support for at present for older DP versions. DP1.2 requires MST for UHD transmissions...

AMD GPU's do not presently support HDMI 2.0 which is required for 60Hz 4K on UHD TVs at this time.

Presently, all of Nvidia's GTX 9xx line of GPU's support HDMI 2.0 including the GTX 960.

Nvidia's also known to do some chroma sampling trickery to achieve higher resolutions and refresh rates than is possible using 4:4:4 due to bandwidth constraints. There is also a possibility that your display does not support 4:4:4 sampling UHD at the 60Hz frequency you desire. In my googling it appears to be common for UHD TV's to only support 4:4:4 at 30Hz and 4:2:0 at 60Hz even over Display Port. Earlier computer Displays seems to be similarly limited. So that's something you might want to look in to about your, so far, un named display.

i am sorry i am unable to provide an answer at this time, however i hope the above information helps.

i have re edit the post to make it more clearly that i am using dp and not hdmi, and my tv is one for the best in terms of 4k tv , my tv ax800 panasonic support 4:4:4 60hz trough displayport and hdmi 2.0 which i knew long time ago thats why i bought the tv look :

https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/778627/geforce-900-series/uhd-tvs-providing-4k-60hz-with-4-4-4-choma-hdmi-2-0-/1/

i dont know what to do it doesnt work with my amd card fury trix 4gb trough dp , maybe i will go back to nvidia since it worked there with no problem

thank you for your help

I finally solved this problem after bought my 8 display port cable because for my amd video card is high demanding in terms of cables, and of-curse my tv needed more high bandwidth cable for this amd card to work well, all my other 7 cables i bought specify for this card for testing are V1.2 .

with all my other cables i manged to get 60hz with nvidia video cards.. with my ax800 panasonic tv

AND i am sure with regular pc mointor there wouldn't be any problem to get 60hz in 4k with DP with this or other AMD cards......

but the only DP cable that worked with my amd fury gpu to get 60hz in 4k with my TV ,this DP cable little expensive from then other i bought but worth every cent one from amazon here is the link if someone have or will have the same problem with this
