Recently i purchased a new ssd and i've been trying to migrate my OS to it, but after i began the process of migrating it between drives, I came across an error in my Hard Disk Drive (1 TB of storage but i've only used about 140ish GB so far). so i ran a test with HD Tune Pro and it told me i have a single bad sector. i ran chkdsk from command prompt 3 times and each time it stopped at 11% and would not finish. I attempted to Defrag it and that didn't do much for me either. Does anyone have any suggestions on how i can fix this bad sector?

yep i used both stitches and even after completion my Hard Drive test is showing the same bad sector.. :/ could it be because its physical damage and not logical damage? if so how do i make my drive useable with physical damage to a sector?

the drive in question, isnt an aftermarket drive. it came with my lenovo ideapad y510p that i purchased 2 years ago. So there is no software available specifically for my drive, would those other drive tools work with it?
