My Samsun M3 2T external hard drive has been working fine for 8 months. It is my back up drive. There is plenty of space left on it. Yesterday when I plugged it in to back up it started the Time Machine backup but I bumped my computer a little and that seems to have been enough to eject INCORRECTLY the external hard drive. Since then I have not been able to plug the hard drive back in and have my lap top recognise it. The blue light on the external drive just flashes and nothing is recognised on my laptop. Running a MacBookPro on OS X Yosemite version 10.10.2. Can someone please help me out with a fix for this. I live in a remote part of New Zealand where going to a data recovery expert is not an option unfortunately.
