Installing an OS on a new computer. Windows is looking for "a mass storage driver for installation". I don't know if I have to download/update drivers? How do I "Load driver to provide a mass storage for installation"? Also, I can't use disks. USB is my only option?

Are you installing from a DVD or USB. What is and what motherboard.
I know on a couple of gigabyte amd based boards I was installing from USB but if I used the USB 3.0 (blue port) it would crap out on me and ask for storage drivers.

Hi,
When you start the computer press the del key several times until you boot into the BIOS. From there you should be able to go into advanced settings and see the hard drive. It will tell you what it is currently formatted as, try changing it to ahci if it's in RAID or something. Also you would find chipset drivers under your motherboards website (don't know why I said Intel although they might be available there).
