Onboard Ethernet port is no longer working. I installed a new card and still have problems

My computer's onboard Ethernet port stopped working. It says its connected to the internet but my programs/software/games says I'm not connected. No data is being sent or received. So I thought the port went bad and I bought a new Ethernet card and installed it.

On the new card I will get the internet for about 1 minute and then the new Ethernet port stops working and shows a yellow triangle. If I restart my computer or disable and enable the new card I can use it again for another minute. I've tried updating drivers, uninstalling drivers, reinstalling drivers...nothing works.

I have windows 10 running on the computer since july 30th I've had no problems with it. Yesterday morning it was working fine and when I came home at night I turned the computer on and the internet no longer works. I did a system restore back to the install date and that didn't work. I finally reinstalled a fresh copy of windows 10.

I still have the same problem the Onboard Ethernet says its connected to the internet but i receive no data and the new one that I installed gets the internet for 1 minute and stops until I restart the computer. When I installed the new Ethernet port I made sure to disable the onboard port first.
So I can't figure out whats wrong with it. If it was software issues when I reinstalled windows it should have fixed it.

The only other thing I can think of is that something is wrong with the motherboard. If anyone can offer me any advice that would be great. Also I prefer to use a Ethernet cord because I play alot of games online and the router is sitting next to my computer. and I don't own a wifi card or usb stick.

My computer is an AMD specs:
Gigabyte Motherboard Ga 970 A UD3,
FX 8 core 8320 3.5 GHZ,
Geforce 550 Ti,
16 GB Ram,
256 SSD
600 watt power supply

It could be motherboard. Hard to tell. My builtin LAN port was defective too, after I did something stupid. I brought USB WLAN adapter and it worked fine until I got a new motherboard.

But after each restart I had to click once the repair network connection function from Windows 7. So I suggest to try these things in following order, if it is not working:

- try the repair connection function
- buy USB WLAn adapter (any cheap one should work)
- try Ubuntu Live Boot CD, an alternative operating system, without to install it. At least to check if it works with it

If all these fail on that computer and other device dont experience problems, then modt likely you have a motherboard failure. But even then something different could be the...

At first I was think the router but I have a Xbox one, Roku, and another desktop all wired in. I switched cable and ports on the router with the other desktop. the other desktop had no problem with the internet and it was in the same port my PC had been in. I tried all the ports and different cables and nothing worked. When I bought the new card I bought a new ethernet cable also. and none of the settings on the router have been changed at all. I've never had anything like this happen before. I very knowledgable when it comes to computers but I am stumped. I've changed my router settings and even reset it. I'm at the point that I'm considering changing out the entire motherboard.

I have disabled the onboard lan several times. What is weird is that the new ethernet card will work for around a minute and then limited/no internet. I've had some of my friends say it could be hardware issues.
