In my last PC I had a motherboard with support for triple channel memory so I had three sticks of 2GB RAM (CM3X2048-1600C7DHX). I'm building a new PC that does not have this feature (ASUS P8P67) and I bought one stick of Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB memory at 1866MHz. The old RAM is 1600MHz but I know you can have two different speeds but I just need to know if I could have two sticks of the old memory in dual channel and one stick of the old memory and the Fury in dual channel.

Solution
If the mobo is Intel and supports flex or if AMD and their version of flex.....and if the stick will play together - no guarantees there, you would have 8GB in dual channel and the odd 6GB from the 8GB stick running in single channel mode
