PC not getting past bios splash

After a bios flash to fix a graphics card problem, which did work, the bios now doesn't get past the Intel splash, Intel board. I can select boot menu but when I select my hard drive it freezes. I can also go into the bios settings and that seems to be functional. Any help would be appreciated.

Some motherboards still have a tiny little speaker. Others do not.

First thing I would try is to reset the BIOS to its Default Settings. This option is normally on the Save/Exit page. After choosing that, then Save and Exit. The system will restart. See if that helped any.

It's not new parts but I have built it myself.

Intel i5 2320
Intel DH61BE
1 8gb stick of Kingston ram
Sapphire R7 360
Senate barracuda 500gb
Windows 7 home premium.

This is not my PC but was building for a mate on a tight budget so went with used parts. I could try parts from my PC if needed. Ie hard drives of ram

The bios is not up to its latest version, I only updated to the version 99 because I couldn't flash to something above 100 before going to 99 for some reason. Fixed the graphics card not displaying problem though.

So the problem was that the system wouldn't boot with a graphics card in it. Without a graphics card I could open into windows and windows would recognise everything. But I wanted the graphics card to work. So I flashed to version 99 and that fixed the graphics card problem but then this bios problem began.

OK, this is going beyond anything I can help you with since I have never even owned an Intel Brand Motherboard.

What I have found is a thread that is from last September, where someone was having the same error you are, and on the same model motherboard you are trying to update. There is a section at one point in this thread where they ask the person to downgrade, and then upgrade another way. That may be what you need to do. But read the thread, make your decisions, and if you have any questions, ask Intel. They know their BIOS, and I simply do not.
