Hello all.

I recently completed a new build, for Internet connection I'm using TP-link tl-wdn4800 PCI-e.

From the get go I have not had a stable connection on this system. I connect perfectly but when used the Internet disconnects and usually comes back with limited connection, until I troubleshoot it and it says windows has fixed the problem with the wireless adaptor or connection point.

I know its not the router because I have serveral other devices and laptops connected to this same wifi, working 100% perfectly.

Currently I'm using windows 7 ultimate x64, I trird 8.1 first but thought the card wasn't comps to so tried moving backwards.

My latest error report involved the DCHP.

Are there any settings needed to be tweaked on the router or pc?

Drivers are up to date.

Please assist, extremely frustrating.

Thank you,

Mike.

Hi, have you tried reset the TCP/IP stack, at command line: netsh int ip reset C:\resetlog.txt, reboot after.

Check if power saving mode is On for your adapter and turn it off.

Have you also tried manually assigning IP to see if it's a problem with DHCP.

Or else you could reinstall the adapter by uninstalling it from Device Manager and reinstall it and drivers.
