Is this a good Computer Build?

Solution
The GTX 960 is great, however the GTX 970 is better. If you can, get the GTX 970. If you can't, then the GTX 960 is fine. For the CPU cooler as long as you overclock you will be good to go.

You can SLI without any cost. All you would need to pay for is the extra graphics card.

Also, same with overclocking. You can overclock AND SLI without paying anything extra but the graphics card and the CPU cooler.

Not sure about getting the extra parts because i was not going to add anymore then what i generally have when build this, but later in the future i would definitely think of getting the the graphics cards to overclock but the processor i have there comes with a cpu cooler. So is there anything in that build that could be changed for something else better in the same price range? Also is the 500watt battery i already have good enough for this? The Pcpartpicker site added up the watts and said i would only be at 317 Watts with my current build?

Not really. The PSU you had in your build wasn't very reliable. The one I suggested will last you for a long time. Even if it were to fail, It most likely wouldn't take something with it.

And trust me, the GTX 970 is worth it. But it's up to you. Just use my current build and swap the card over to a 960.

ok so i will buy the video card and the new battery but will i need to buy a different cpu cooler or is the one that comes with the processor good enough? Oh and did you say to buy the video card i already had and the one you suggested or just is the one you suggested good enough on its own

My bad, I meant as long as you DON'T overclock. Sorry, lol my mistake. The stock cooler will be fine as long as you don't overclock. Overclocking creates more heat than normal, so that's definitely not good for the stock cooler.

The GTX 970 beats the R9 290 no doubt. The GTX 970 compares with the R9 290X, not 290.

This will perform a bit better but is a tad pricier.

SSD's are worth it. No, it doesn't increase your download but it does increase your app startup time, OS start up, etc. Your download is based on your internet. Hybrid's are alright, It'd be more worth it to get an SSD + HDD though.

Also, for the cooler, the CRYORIG H7 is better for the price, plus it's smaller.
