Hi! I've had an AMD FX-8150 for a long time.
Few days ago i install a new cooler, DeepCool Gammaxx 400 (early - stock). I want to test it and run AIDA64 and i have strange results, my cpu starts to throlling after few minutes in stress test.
Max. Temp (CPU) - 45C
GPU: MSI GTX 760 OC
MB: ASUS M5A78L/usb3 (support cpu 130w) (latest bios version)
PSU: CoolerMaster RS-500-PSAP-J3 (500w)
OS: Windows 8.1 with latest updates
Gaming:
BF 4 (with vsync - runs great, max temp - 47C)
BF 4 (without vsync - runs not good (throttling), max temp - 48-49C)
Dying Light, Metro 2033 Redux, Rome 2 (without vsync - runs great, temp - 47C)
BIOS Settings:
AMD Turbo Core - off
Core'n'Quiet - off
Core C6 - off
Windows Settings:
Power Mode - High Performance
P.S. So it's maybe PSU problem?
