Hey guys

so im crashing as i enter the district with the temple le marais (paris) viewpoint. Im only a few hours in and the whole map is fine and working excluding this issue. the moment i enter this area the game crashes to desktop no error code etc.

Verifying files has not fixed it.

Anyone else experienced this and fixed it?

Solution
Unity always used to crash for me as well, if you navigate to your documents and in the AC Unity folder you should see 2 files, delete them and then launch the game and go to the district, doing this helped my crashing

I was also experiencing this same problem, with the game crashing once I jump off a roof or even just walk towards the viewpoint in the le marais district. I was about to give up and uninstall the game when I stumbled on the solution on one forum (sorry, I visited so many that I no longer remember the site I visited).

If your crash happens while walking towards the viewpoint in the Le Marais district directly from the south side, a solution I found was to circle over the glitching area. That is go to the northern most part of the district directly south of Temple (but be careful not to go over, otherwise the game will crash), and then proceed east, to the very edge of the map, while walking parallel to the south border of the Temple District. Once at the very east, you can now proceed north into the Temple district without crashing. Once you have successfully entered the southeastern corner of Temple, you may now go towards the viewpoint without crashing.

Another solution I found but haven't tried from a French forum was to just simply proceed with the story missions until you reach Sequence 6. After that they say you may now enter the Temple area without a problem.
