Asus z97-P bios issues

Hi, when I turn on the computer the asus splash screen comes up but sometimes it stays for a long time and doesn't boot to the disk. It also doesn't let me enter the bios if I press del.

Do you have multiple hard drives in your system?


My asus board will hang for a long time on the splash screen if i attach a bad or failing hard drive to the computer. I would try and run some test on your drives to make sure they are alright.

Mine does exactly that except if you wait for about 30 seconds it either boots into bios or loads windows, weird. Could be something else failing ill try re-seating cpu and bios chip.
