AMD FX-6300 for gaming?

How will an FX-6300 perform in relatively recent games paired with an R9 270x? I would appreciate slightly more specific answers than "Decent"

It will perform very well with the r9 270x. What types of games do you plan on playing? GTA V will be able to run at medium-high settings as long as you change around the settings. BF 4 can run on that setup (Not on max settings). In other words most games can run on that build very well.

Not saying that you can go extraordinarily far with a R9 270X (I mean, No extreme 4k gaming, obviously). I don't believe the FX-6300 will be too much of a bottleneck for the type of gaming that you are planning on doing with a R9 270X. I've had gaming PCs with similar performance tier CPUs before and was still able to churn out all games just fine on reasonable settings.

I like to play a lot of H1z1, cs:go, Batman Arkham city, Skyrim, Gta 4, and someday I'll buy GTA 5.

I have a FX 6300 OC to 4.7Ghz for the last 2 years, coupled with a GTX 760 MARS and it runs any game i throw at it with no problems. Used to have a 270x too and its a good mid-end card. You will be happy with it!

All of those games should be able to run. You may need to tweak some settings on games like GTA 4. CS:GO will run flawlessly on highest settings. Skyrim will run pretty well (Though it won't work perfectly with visual mods). Batman will be easy to run. H1Z1 is an Early Access game. No idea how that will run though I predict it will run pretty well. Good luck!
