Hi all this is a Xfx 280x had it about a year it always flickered but now it's really bad in win 8 and 10 tried everything tried every bios and driver combination latest bios does not flicker but it won't run amd drivers get message display driver stopped Yada Yada Help ready to throw this card out

I found that my XFX 280X DD was running far too slowly in Windows and I was getting stutters and screen flickering. No issues in games when it ramps itself up but just normal browsing and desktop work and it got really annoying. I created a profile that instead of core/mem clocks of 150/300, which i actually laughed out loud at, I set them to something like 450/600 and I have had next to no issues since. A new driver install wipes that away but if the profile is saved, you can easily reapply it should your screen start flickering again after updating drivers.
