I was wondering , can the video ports of an APU mobo be used to dispaly the video of a PCI dedicated graphics card , while the CPU is NOT an APU?

Solution
I highly doubt it but maybe there's a way but I don't know. The adapters work pretty good, they make all kinds...hdmi to vga, displayport to vga, dvi to vga.

HDMI and DVI are digital signals while VGA is analog i was told. An adapter is pretty pricey (and pretty large to hand behind a desktop). A video card i ordered had no VGA slot and the monitor i wanted only had VGA , but mobo was FM2+ and had VGA. Anyways , got bigger monitor. When in doubt , get a bigger hammer.

Thank you for your reply. :D
