I have a fx 6300 black edition and a r7 200 series graphics card if I over clock would it have a lot better fps?

I have th stock fan would it work or do I need a new cpu fan?

Also I will upgrade to the r9 270x once I get my next paycheck in 2 weeks but will this work? Is it worth it? And should I do it?

You need new CPU go for CRYORIG H7 or try grab from ebay any Scythe Mugen series

270x is not bad GPU

you try look for any good deal with R9 280 or R9 380 they can be very cheap

if you oc youll get better fps but not that much. you need to oc to 4,3+ to see diference.

what mobo and psu and gpu do you currently have?

you need better cooling to oc fx cpus.
