Hello guys.

I currently have a CoolerMaster Extreme 500 PSU but i've read that this one is not any good specially for this vid. card so im looking for a good one that will do the job under high pressure for the lowest price.

I currently have an AMD FX 8350, 3 cooler master fans, 1 DVD drive.

Any suggestions?

Could i simply get along with my current PSU or do i trull need to upgrade?

Thank you !

960 only requires a 400 watt power supply. While your PSU may not be the best quality, it will work. Lots of people run stuff on worse PSU.

That GPU draws 120w max, so 10amps. Your PSU has two 18 amp 12volt rails, you'll be fine.

Ohw really? i was really worried. Once i had a Pixxo PSU that mention over 700w and the thing literally blew up while playing Mass Effect back in the days.

You positive about this?

Another confirm about CM 500w PSU. It's way more powerful than gtx 960 needs. Even fully overclocked CPU powerhog of yours will use less than 300w for the whole system. That makes any 400+w PSU more than capable of running it.

That's a Pixxo PSU. While your CM isn't a top teir model, it's not garbage either.
