I have amd so would gaming evolved be better? or razer game booster or something else? Let me know the name and what it does to help thanks.

Solution
Only things that can increase fps through software are:

- lowering details in-game (usually your only option, but games will look worse)
- better GPU drivers with more optimisation for a specific game from the manufacturer (don't hold your breath on that one, rarely happens and increases are usually small)
- playing a less demanding (older) game which does not use too much graphics/CPU power

Other than that, only new hardware can help.

Something like this doesn't exist.

A fast system is an optimal configured, slim and clean system.

edit: What razer booster for instance does is close programs, you don't need. But programs you don't need, shouldn't run in the first place.

Also, it also defrags your system, which you should do yourself manually every couple weeks/months and can do yourself without bloating your system.

What you basically do, is get software that make your system slower, to make your system faster. So what you really need, is to optimize your system by default and without silly kiddy software.

Gaming Evolved can *sort of* help, but you need to realise that all it does is tweak the game detail settings so they're somewhere near appropriate for your system. That's nothing you can't do yourself.

For sure close any junk you have on the system, but that's unlikely to change things.

If you're not happy with your fps you have two real options.
1) drop the detail/graphics settings
2) buy better hardware

Assuming #2 is not an option, downloads FRAPS (if you haven't already) and spend some time playing around with detail settings for your game. Try to find a good combination of settings that keeps your frame rate in acceptable levels without compromising too much on the look of the game.

There are heaps of "ultra or nothing" gamers who feel like they need to rush out and upgrade their hardware when they can't max out every single slider in the details menu... but in reality, there are usually a few settings that have a big impact on performance (FPS) without really making a massive difference to the look of the game.

If you're already on low or minimum settings though, and you're confident your system isn't loaded up with junk, then you don't really have any options other than #2.

im sorry for these partially half witted answers that other people are posting.

"CPUCores Maximize Your FPS" works well does the exact same thing as razer cortex but with next to no cpu or ram hit.

also there is this nifty tool called "TimerResolution" which literally doubles the speed at which windows processed code. (this process literally doubled my fps in most all games including: Ark:SE, pubg, dark and light, fallout 4... literally ever game ive tried it helps with.)

with this i was able to play pubg on a 960m with 12gb ram and an i7 at 3.2ghz at 60fps with 0 drops. before i tried all this i was lucky to get 20 fps.

but also constantly maintaining your system and freeing up hard drive space can help as-well.

(these steps literally double your fps WITHOUT overclocking and ruining your cpu or gpu.)
