G502 buttons wont work with csgo

Hi! i recently picked myself up the Logitech g502, i love the feel and everything about the mouse but i have some problems. My main game is CSGO and i bought this mouse to bind the extra buttons on the mouse to do things such as pull out grenades etc. My problem is when i go to bind the buttons in the console it says the button is now bind, but in game it wont work. I tested the buttons out in game settings and they are being recognized so i dont know what my problem is.



Also i know g5 and g4 buttons are recognized but how can i get a game to recognize the dpi up and down buttons?

You have to create these macros on the software side.

Use the 'Logitech Gaming Software' to create macros and commands for your G-keys.

*edit* you may also need to assign a generic keyboard key to the g-key. the problem could also be that CSGO doesn't actually recognize the g-keys properly.

Eg. Turn 'g2' into 'numpad *' then assign 'numpad *' to switch grenade.

I believe you can change the dpi buttons inside the 'LGS'

i found the preset csgo profile but i cant seem to set the buttons to for example map them to select a flashbang
