hey guys I'm really torn between the 970 and 390x now I know theres no such thing as futureproof but I want a card that's gonna last me atleast 3 years playing all the latest games at high/ulra and in very rare cases medium settings at 1080p almost 60fps now I'm not a fanboy ive never owned an amd card and I love my 760 but its starting to age lol this is the first time I'm considering an amd card coz that 8GB of vram is tempting me but the power draw/heat is scaring me lmgao please help by giving me your honest opinion [on a side note will a 750 watt seasonic psu be good enough for the 390x with about 4 standard fans no extra cooling and I will be overclocking the rest of my system is an i5 3470 @3.60GHZ 2 TB HDD 320GB SSD 8 GB DDR3 RAM so will that psu run the 390x with all the rest of my specs thanx in advance guys I really appreciate all the help. ;}

No matter how much the 970 can OC its GPU core will never be as powerful as the 390X nor will its 3.5GB vram magically increase to 8GB.

Ok kwl guys but then the R9 390x gets really hot while the 970 is a beast at overclocking will 4 standard fans and a 750watt psu from seasonic be good enough lol the last thing I want is to overheat my Gpu of CPU thanx for the reply.

Yes it will be enough, maybe more than enough. A pc with only one gpu will never exceed 600W (well for now at least).
