My new build includes a Core i5-4460 for my Gigabyte GA-H97-D3H. The installation of the cpu and fan went very well...until I had to remove the fan. The mobo has a bent pin and is awaiting RMA. One of the locking legs broke coming out of the board. As you may well notice, this is not a gaming setup. I would like to replace the stock fan but Intel is not 'talking' about how to do that. What suggestions do you have for replacement of this 1150 socket fan?

If you have friends, they may have a spare. I live in Central Florida and have a couple of spare heatsinks. Anyone who has gone to an aftermarket cooler could have a free spare.

Buy a cheap aftermarket cooler. Almost anything will be at least as good as the stock cooler.
