Hi,

I just got my "ASUS MAXIMUS VII RANGER" motherboard and a "Kingston SSDNow M.2 SATA 120 Go" And i Have some issues with the ssd the motherboard can't read it.
So is the issue that ssd is "m.2 socket 3 sata 6gb" and in the motherboard specs is "m.2 socket 3 mode pci-e"? I never used m.2 ssd so i'm a littre lost.

Thank you very much for the help and have a nice day.
(Sorry for my english I'm from Belgium)

Actually, i answered my own question, the "ASUS MAXIMUS VII RANGER" is only and only compatible with "M.2 (Socket 3) - Mode PCI-E" any other m.2 ssd models is incompatible, Bios change dont change anything (believe me i tried) If i'm wrong i woud be glad to be corrected
