In no particular order, I would look at:
New RAM: 1600 and a CAS 9 or lower
New GPU: 970 works just fine or AMDs R9 290x

The GPU will be the most noticeable change for you. Without doing the math you MIGHT want to look into a new PSU.

Where do I find CAS on the ram? It doesn't say for the one I have, and why 1600? Will it make that much of a difference over the 1333? Do you recommend the 970 over the 290x? I figured I will have to upgrade the psu sooner or later. I was dumb when I first made this build and didn't get a higher watt, which I wish I would've done.

If I do most of the recommendations you advised, everything else should be good?

I also assume that this will be a good psu? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139028

I found a 600w bronze certified for 44 after MIR. Is that not a good deal? What would you suggest? I am probably leaning towards the 970 within the next couple of weeks once I get a nice paycheck lol. Is there a case you would recommend as well? Mine is terrible because there is no cable management.

Mid sized, I found a corsair carbide 200r which seems decent for 50 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139018&ignorebbr=1. This is the psu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139028. I also found a EVGA refurbished 600w for 40 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438023 ends up being about the same after shipping though.

Admirable
I prefer to be the first person to break something, but that's me.

*Again, stay away from Corsair PSUs unless you are getting a premium model.*

If you don't care about modularity:

Or if you do:

That second one is a great deal but really overkill for your system. That said, better to have too much and not need it. The first is a solid unit. I picked one up and replaced the CX600 in my dad's system. I'll keep it around as a short term backup or throw it in a lower power system where it won't be taxes and hopefully less likely to blow up.

For cases, specifically mid-towers, I'd be looking Corsair and Fractal Design. Between those two you should find something you like at a pretty decent price, though, admittedly, higher than you might be able to find from someone else. Remember that you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a decent case on the cheaper end, look at Cooler Master, they have several options in that range.

Thanks for the advice, I will check those psus out, and I will look for a case made by one of those manufacturers.
