How are your temps? An unplugged SATA power connector shouldn't cause this error.

I played 20 minutes of L4D2 and the GPU almost overheated. CPU was still running cool <---- probably cause I just put a new layer of Thermal paste on CPU

I am pretty sure the fans before this all started happening the fans were spinning clockwise like a clock. Now when i power my rig on the cpu fan starts spinning counterclockwise. All i did was take off the heatsink to see if i could fix the vibration in it. Idk if i crosswired something or not...

Whether it's spinning clockwise or anti-clockwise doesn't matter. Which direction it is pushing the air in is the important thing. I'm not sure that you can change the direction of a fan by wiring it wrongly; normally you just turn it over if you want it to move air in the opposite direction.

I can't feel air coming out of the heatsink at all. I can feel air coming out my GPU a little bit cause theres a gap between the card and fan but thats at the top and not the bottom

Sounds as if both fans are pushingmair onto the heatsinks, which is how it should be. But you ought to be able to confirm this just by looking at the construction of the blades and the direction that they are rotating.

Would you happen to know why my CPU gets very hot if I put the side panel on? I think it also applies to my gpu as well.

That sounds like a problem with your case fans not removing hot air from the cabinet. If the problem was the CPU (or GPU) fan then you wouldn't expect whether the case was open or not to make a lot of difference. Are you sure you have the right combination of fans pulling air into the case and pushing it out. (There's no simple answer to what is the best combination as it very much depends upon how many fans you have, what components you have, and how they are arranged in your case. But you should have at least one inlet fan and one pushing air out. IMO you will ideally have positive pressure within the case to help expel the air, but ymmv. Googling the subject will provide a lot more info.)

I got one fan taking out the air and one bring in the air. Both are working fine and this was how they were when i first bought the computer last year. but i didnt have this heat problem with putting the side panel on. My case is a Thermaltake Commander MS-I
