I have heard some controversy about skylake being worth the upgrade or not, but at the moment I have no desktop so building a last gen PC just wouldn't make sense for me as I would like to take advantange of the new perks (NVMe and DDR4). Not to mention the i5 6600k is so similarly priced to my last gen choice, the i5 4690/k.

Keep in mind this is a theoretical build, I might build it next month but not buy an NVMe SSD until the expected price drop and possible sales around the end of November.

My biggest concern is the Motherboard and the RAM actually. I am least knowledgeable about Motherboards when it comes to PC building although it is on of if not the most important component in the system. I have had two machines with SLI and it just doesn't work for me because I prefer many in-development games such as ARK: Survival Evolved that do not yet support SLI so I will only ever use 1 graphics card and upgrade it as needed (hopefully not anytime soon!) The other PCIe port will be taken by the NVMe SSD. Will I need more ports or will the 2 on this MOBO be okay for me?
Is the RAM alright? I am a little skeptical of the brand.

Will be using my 1080p TV as a monitor. I think that's everything, so what do you guys think?

Edit: Don't plan on overclocking much, if at all FYI

Okay fair enough I will update the build, but I am still curious if others could tell me if the motherboard is fine or if I should get one with four PCIe slots. Thanks for your help by the way, probably saved me a lot of headache.
