Whenever I plug in my ethernet cable to my motherboard (L33T Z97-Machine (I know it's cheesy as hell)) my router stops responding to all other computers or devices connected to it. Internet access as well as router access is stopped. I have never even heard of something like this happening before, and my question is what could cause this and is the only solution for me it to get a new mobo?

I should have added that I'm using a wifi connector right now and my internet and everyone else on this router's internet works just fine, it's only when I use ethernet. And my ip address does not show up when I connect my ethernet cable to my computer.

I've tried the same cable on two other devices and they both work and don't mess with the router, and I also replaced the router and all signs point to my computer.
