Hello, I have a gateway DX-4850-27e computer and just won A HyperX Predator 16gb (2x8) DDR3 kit. I want to know if it's compatible with my stock mobo. I'm slowly frankensteining my computer, but I wasn't sure if this would work because my board is a quad channel. Is there any way I can determine if this dual kit would work, it doesn't support more than 16gb, so I need to pull out the other two memory sticks (not that I let them big it down anyways). The CPU is an I5-2300. Thank you.

Thanks, I considered that. I also found out this particular mobo only supports up to 1333mhz and this new memory is also either 2133 or 2400, so another incompatibility issue. I felt like I knew the answer to this, but wanted to ask anyway to confirm. Thanks!
