Thank you for this information. To be sure I'm clear; under heavy loads my laptops AMD APU thermal margin is in constant red.

Depends what kind of load?
If by load you mean browsing the web then yes, that's bad
But if your playing a game or benchmarking then it's normal, laptops can't stay cool under that kind of load

Really? Okay, yeah I'm taking about gaming. I have a cooling pad, my apartment gets hot at times and when I game it's thermal margin is in the red. This should be okay? Even under hours of gaming? I've been using it as a gaming machine for about 3 years pretty hardcore.
