My setup is currently
i7 4770k Stock clock
8gb ddr4 RAM
z97 motherboard
650W some weird offbrand PSU

I have never had this issue before until right after the driver updates. I even uninstalled the previous driver updates and installed the new ones. I changed power cables to 2 different 6 pin connectors. And still having the same issue.

I bought a Corsair gold 850W PSU and a R9 290x for an upgrade. Anyways, a solution to this would be great! Here is a picture of what the screen looks like when it crashes http://puu.sh/jCgUv/fe0f37e026.jpg

Its the weirdest thing considering I havent had a problem since december and now RIGHT after the Driver update it happens everytime..Really really confused

This is the only thing that happens, and its only when I play games.
Im honestly thinking is the power supply

Im just really really really confused as to why it is doing this as it hasnt done this before.

I'm not sure if you've found an answer yet, but I just wanted to add that I built a PC for my brother with the same GPU and it gets the exact same crashing. Weird vertical lines. The crashes are random, sometimes crashing on youtube or games with bad graphics. Turning the fan speed to 100% helped to an extent but the crashing still occurs sometimes and we haven't figured out why, the temperature seemed fine when using MSI afterburner, but if the increased fan speed helped then I don't know, I thought it might have more to do with the driver side because of crashing on youtube, but I'm not sure.

If you find or found a solution it would be great if you would post it here. But yes I would say most definitely the GPU is the problem (my guess at least).

Sorry for being so late. But I sent an RMA request to MSI and they sent me back a R9 380 2gb card back brand new in the mail. It took about a month and a half. But I was still surprised when I got a new card.
