I recently wanted to increase the space on my C Drive by utilizing the available space in Drive D.

I did this by using EaseUS Partition Master. I shrank Drive D by 20 GB and extended C Drive using this free space.

However, The C drive has now been extended but it is now a continuous partition . please refer image below

Is this kind of partitioning ok to have. Would it slow my performance.
How can i revert back from this change.

Solution
You've spanned the drive. Sometimes this is done to connect multiple drives together if neither perforrmance or redundancy is an issue, but I haven't seen it done with multiple partitions on one drive.

It shouldn't perform too badly, though random reads will suffer a bit because the head has to move over the D: partition in the middle.

However, if something goes wrong on your Windows install, it could be rather difficult to copy the data off.
