High end computer has trouble doing simple tasks.

I have a high end Gaming PC. GTX 770 card with 8 gb of Ram and i5 4690 and when I first got it, I was able to play all games even ARMA 3 fine but now roughly a year later the computer can still play games fine but it loads webpages very slowly and on youtube I cant play any video higher then 144p otherwise it lags. What wrong with it?

I would try another browser to see if it is better.

Also checking your internet speed may be a good idea.

One last thing is that some users have noticed that the new HTML5 player for youtube seems to have some performance issues.

well you are not on a high end gaming rig, medium range is more like it and lets be honest here. as a pc gets older it slows down, time to do a back up and clean reformat, everything will be fast again

I reformat very 6 months just to keep everything tip top.... I have all my regular program installers backed up to another drive as well as music, pics, etc. I can reformat do all windows updates and drivers in less than 2 hours.... now I do have a computer that puts the image on my hardrive so there is no windows install, just activate and go.
