Hey guys, I'm currently looking for a DDR3 Z170 board which is suitable for an overclocked i5 6600K. Unfortunately there aren't many and I'm on a tight budget so I can't afford a DDR4 one... I can't choose between those two:
ASRock Z170 Pro4/D3 -http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z170%20Pro4D3/?cat=Specifications
Asus Z170-P D3 -https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z170-P-D3/specifications
The ASRock one seems to have a bit better audio solution and fits my build's blue color scheme better, but my biggest concerns are the power delivery phases and maybe the voltage BIOS options which I like a lot in the ASRock software, but I'm pretty sure they'll be fine on the Asus too. However I am confused and unsure about the VRMs - Pro4/D3 seems to have 5 (4+1 maybe?), Z170-P D3 states 7 digital phases in the specs, which's a bit unclear to me. So my question is which one suits my OC needs better in long term if any of those two are even alright for it?
