Hi everyone,

I have home assembled computer from 2009, here are the specs :

Motherboard : MSI P45 Neo-F (MS-7519)
Processor : Intel Core 2 Duo E8400
Graphic card : NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 (added some months after)
RAM : 2 x DDRII 1066 2GB Xtreem Dark from Team Group INC
Hard drive : One SSD 256GB as a main hard drive, and a 3 Tera as a second hard drive (added last year)

For few months, I had some troubles with it. It started to freezes either few minutes after I turn it on or either few hours.

When it freezes, I can't move the mouse, can't press a key and the sound is stopped. However, it's still on and the fans are still blowing.

For the past few days, the problem is more and more happening, now it happens every 30 minutes.

I read a lot of forum threads but I couldn't find a solution yet.

At first thought, I thought it was the RAM, so I did a memtest and I had one error.

So I bought other RAM :
Crucial CL7 Memory RAM DDR2 4 Go (2 x 2 Go) PC2-8500 1066 MHz

I was very disappointed when the same problem happened after I changed the RAM... Looks like I wasted 100 euros for nothing.

When I put all the RAM together, my screen stays black so apparently it doesn't combine very well. Do you know why ? (I tried to remove the motherboard battery for 5 seconds as well)

I'm starting to think it's my CPU or motherboard... What do you guys think ?

I've first written this post on notepad so I can have it saved if my computer freezes. Actually, he did freezes but my text file freshly saved was filled with "NUL" characters...

Some other information :
My BIOS is up to date (1.2)
The PSU is new and the problem still happened before
I did a adwcleaner (just in case)
