I just bought an HIS 7850 1gb card two days ago. It was running well until now. My system will immediately crashed when I'm trying to run games (Tomb Raider, Grid 2, Batman Arkham Origin). Even at resolution as low as 1024x768.

Black screen with vertical lines (shown below)

It runs perfectly fine in idle condition. I can still run Excel or Chrome.

Is my new graphic card defect? Or did my PSU can't give enough juice? Here's my PSU

It should be capable of providing power for a 7850.

My spec : core i3 4130, 8GB DDR3, 2TB Seagate harddrive.

Should I return my new graphic card, or buy a new PSU?

Update : My system is not overheated in any way. It even crashed when GPU temperature was at 39 C

Thank you for your reply. I returned it but hey had no replacement, so I upgraded to R7 370. Found out that my PSU was aged, it can't even feed the 370. Bought a Seasonic today. Problem solved

I'd return it since it's new. I assume the error you're getting (you can check in windows event logs) is kernel event power 41? But if it's new you should be able to return it without any problems.

Another thing you could try is downloading ddu and uninstalling your current video drivers. Get the latest ones from AMD's website and install those.
