I AM NOT A GAMER!!! I'm a newbie building 1st system! I don't want to add a video card or audio card to the motherboard, simple as I can get it. I want to watch Blu Ray disks, Surf net and work on spread sheets! Any suggestions on AMD CPU, I can go up to $125.00? - Tks, David

Solution
I suggested the MSI A78M-E35 V2 because it's inexpensive while providing USB 3.0 and HDMI (I presumed you wouldn't use a VGA monitor to watch BluRay movies). I presume you'll start with a single 8GB memory module, but ideally you'd buy a 16GB kit (2 x 8GB) if you can afford it. I haven't found an inexpensive FM2+ motherboard with digital audio output.

Overclocking is running the CPU at a higher clock rate to get more performance; it usually requires a more expensive motherboard with a good CPU VRM and an aftermarket cooler because the CPU draws more power and it generates more heat.

I like your choice for a CPU!! Been checking around and this is in my price range & also seems like a recent production!!
For my motherboard I do have to have some USB 3.0 connections, HDMI output and room for up to 16 GB of Ram (I will probably start out with 8). A digital audio output would be nice but not a big deal if it doesn't have it!!
I already have a nice monitor (1080p Sumsung), Also a solar powered Logitech KB & mouse!!! I will put in either a 1 TB or 2 TB internal HD and will buy retail Windows 10!! Tks for all your help!!
PS - I have no idea what "overclocking" is and I doubt if I would ever need it!!
