I recently got upgraded to a brand new dual band router/modem by my ISP and while i am getting very fast internet speeds on my windows 8 laptop, and my iPhone and tablet, my windows 7 laptop is getting incredibly slow wifi speeds when not connected to the router with an ethernet cable even when i am close to the router/modem with no obstacles near by.
