Recently i am getting this warning " Windows detected a hard disk problem ". then i used seatools for windows to check if there is any error. Basic test shows result as FAILED. then i started seatools for dos. It was going fine but suddenly it stopped at 77% and then it said " thank you for using seatools. press ctrl+alt+del to restart". i wasnt satisfied so i tried "chkdsk" and windows inbuilt error checking software. they gave me no errors. I have no idea which one is right. any help is much appreciated :)

I got the same warning in my 500GB Seagate HDD today, running Windows 7. I noticed even on a new clean install, the computer is slow as crap, and it kept bugging me that "The Drive may FAIL SOON". I would test how far this drive will take it, but I'm already looking into getting a new replacement. I think what we're dealing here is a real physical problem with the drive.
