I am trying to record gameplay on my PC at 1080p at 60 fps but my hard drive(1 tb wd blue) cannot keep up in terms of write speed(DXtory displays the write speed to be 50mb/s) would getting a second wd black/blue solve this or should i get a ssd? Also what type of performance should i expect in terms of write speed from these products and is the main problem that all the pressure is on my single primary hdd

Solution
i would get an ssd as the write/read speeds are about 10x greater than that of a sata 3 hdd i would record it onto ssd the transfer it after finishing recording so it does not take up to much room on the ssd kind regards ash.
