Everything is ok . But aren't you buying a very big power supply 750 watts . 600 watts will do the job . Instead it would be more than enough . And if you save some money then go for the i5 4690k . That would be much much better . Anyway it's a good build :)

Yes change your power supply, RAM only needs to be 1600mhz. Save the cash. CPU is fine, but whats the rig for? gaming? The mobo doesn't need to be a Z97 chipset but as you say this can open more doors down the line for upgrading. Here's an updated list. Is it in your budget?

One more question i have is if it is better to go with a msi gtx 960 4gb and upgrade the processor to an i5-4690k
I plan on playing Cs:Go, H1Z1, DayZ, NBA 2k15, Payday, Tom Clancy's The Division, and all the battlefield games.

Stick with a better GPU. It will have a much bigger effect on fps than upgrading to a 4690k. The 4460 is a good CPU for gaming and will go nicely with the 970. If you do have a few bucks to spare though, upgrade to a 4590, but no further. That CPU has the best performance per pound. read here: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/gaming-cpu-review-overclock,review-32901-3.html So stick with the 970 :D MSI is a good choice. hope i helped!
