What Should i Upgrade

so I have 1000$ to upgrade my pc and I was wondering what I should spend it on? (I want to do some gaming on this computer games like Witcher 3, GTA V, Battlefield 4)

Currently I have:

CPU:i5-4690(Stock Cooler)
GPU: None
MOBO: Asus Z97-A
RAM:8gb Viper Xtreme
PSU: 600w Coolmax (I think but the 600w is for sure)
HDD: 1TB
Optical Drive: just some random dvd reader
Case: NZXT Crafted Series Guardian 921RB Mid Tower Computer Case
Keyboard And Mouse: CM Storm Devastator Bundle
Soundcard: None

it would help to know the make and model of the PSU to see if it needs to be upgraded or which GPU it can support.

the main upgrade would be the Video card.

GPU. The CPU, etc. are fine, although you should get an SSD. For that money, you could get a GTX 980 Ti or Radeon Fury plus an SSD, which would kill those games, as opposed to the Intel Integrated graphics, which aren't enough to play anything.

I don't know for sure but I think it's a CoolMax ZX-600 I am wondering what difference would a better power supply do at the same amount of watts?

A better power supply would be alot safer to use. CoolMax power supplies are tier 5 and should be avoided. If it fails there is a risk of it killing your entire system and/or electrocuting yourself.

I would stick to tier 1 and tier 2.

Thanks For the help i'll look into better power supply's but which would you recommend because I think I'm gonna get a graphics card soon and don't know If I will need a better power supply the graphics card maybe r9 390x or something else I'm not 100% sure just one that will be able to supply efficient power with the majority of graphics cards

Get the R9 390X if you have the money for it, it's a good card.

Thanks for the help but I don't think I'm going to get the 390x it seems like a waste of money instead I am going to get the r9 390 I saw so!e benchmarks and there were only max of 4fps difference and also thank you for the power supplies but I have chosen a corsair cx 750. Watt bronze but thanks for all your help =)

I'm sorry to say this but the corsair cx is a low quality power supply. It's tier 4 because it uses cheap capacitors. Is it too late now??

Thanks you for telling me this because its not to late yet I think I will go with your recommendation the xfx 650w because they are the same price but !y only question is will it be enough for a 390 and my cpu and hdd etc.
