I recently installed 3 120mm fans to my computer. I installed speedfan too check the speeds. In the list it shows fans 1-5. 1 and 2 are running fine, but fans 3-5 are showing 0rpm (The ones I just installed). What can I do to get these fans running properly? My temperatures are getting hot for temp3 and core around 140-150. My other temps are in healthy range. My motherboard is gigabyte m68mt-s2p. 8gb ram, 2 hd 1tb and 3tb.

If they are connected to your PSU through a molex plug, then no, nothing can measure the RPM on that
Maybe speedfan isn't reading right. ARe they phsyically spinning? If so, then obviously speedfan is wrong.

Are they 3 pin fans in a 4 pin port or vice versa? Motherboards sometimes let you in the BIOS set if there are 3 or 4 pin fans hooked up and mixing the two can result in bad RPM readings.

Yes, they are 3 pin fans but I have them connected through a 4pin port to my powersupply. They are spinning and are lit up. I checked my bios fans and they are not listed in my bios, just my cpu fan and system fan.

Will they run at full speed through the molex plug? Or can I expect low performance from them? Also, why does fan speed still show 3 other fans but at 0 rpm?

Thanks. I forgot to add that when I feel 80mm fan thats hooked to my motherboard, I can feel a good breeze coming from it. When I feel the 120mm fans that are spinning and lit up, they don't have the same strength of airflow that the 80mm has. The 120mm are connected through the molex cables.
