I need to connect my PC to the internet. I have a pretty simple solution with my laptop's built in wireless and a crossover cable by bridging the connections, and plugging that, my Xbox, and my PC into a switch. My Xbox also has built in WiFi and i was wondering if there was a way that i could use the WiFi from my Xbox, and the crossover cable to give connection to my PC, without having to use my laptop, as my laptop has nowhere nice to sit at my desk, but my Xbox is tucked away.

No. Your Xbox doesn't have necessary software to bridge WIFI to wired that the laptop does. You could buy a dedicated wireless bridge adapter which would be more like a paperback book rather than a laptop.
