I recently built new PC and have installed Battlefield 4. While playing i would get severe rubber banding issues and upon closer inspection every 10-20 seconds or so my ping would sky rocket fom about 35 to anywhere from 200 to 500 for a few seconds then go back to normal. I the pinged the server i was playing on in CMD with the command ping -n 500 [serverip]. The average was 45 and randomly it would spring up to where it did in game. I ran the same test on my laptop but no problems occured, the average was 20 with minimal fluctuation. So I know this is a problem isolated to my PC. Bearing in mind they are both connected wirelessly, and the same distance away to my Virgin Media Home Hub. I then repeated the same test just pinging my routers IP and the same issue occured, 6 ms ping on average then random spikes to 200-500. I will add that at no point in any single one of the tests were any packets lost if that helps at all. Does this indicate that my wireless card is faulty or that there is some other issue in the connection? Any help is greatly appreciated as this issue makes it impossible to play and type of FPS. Thanks in advance!
