Which GPU looks best for this build?

Please don't bother completely trying to redesign this computer.. That has been happening. If you think my build is crap, feel free to explain, but please answer my main question first:
1) What GPU would be best to go with, the MSI GTX 960 2GD5, the EVGA GeForce GTX 960 2GB SuperSC ACX 2.0+ Video Card, or the R9 280X? I plan to use my computer build primarily for gaming but also school/general use.

EVGA:

R9 280x: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131533 (This is up to change, I'm all ears but please try to stay in that price range)

If you want to point out things in my build please try to stick to GPU<< and PSU (if you must ;)) as that's all I'm really concerned about right now. Thanks everyone!

This card only has 2GB of GDDR5 but its clock speeds are pretty powerful. How about you give me a price range in whatever currency you use i'm assuming US and i'll find you a card that's worth your money. But out of those 2 cards I would go with the MSI one simply because of the VRAM but the 380 is newer so it will be more effective in certain circumstances but yes this 380 will outperform almost every 960 on the market with the exceptions of the ones with 4gb of VRAM and OC ones. This card will do you fine but if you're looking for something around the price range of ~$200 I can find you a card.

I like the Radeon because I'm a fanboy but the 960 is pretty cheap so go for that if you want. Maybe instead of the 3TB HD get a smaller hard drive and get an $80 SSD to put your operating system and programs on, it will be so much faster. The EVGA card and the Radeon are probably the two you want to choose between simply because of looks. If you don't like G Skill Ram try some Kingston HyperX Fury, It comes it almost every colour. Overall it's up to you so look up some reviews on the two cards and see if they tickle your fancy.

Cheers. I plan on getting an SSD later in the future and moving the OS over to that, but for now I'm more concerned with having a larger hard drive because I can easily fill hard drives. :)

Now, concercing looks, my MINI ITX case isn't see through so I'm not really too concerned with looks. I'm mostly concerned with performance here, as in which will run games best / games look nicest on... for that purpose, which card would be best?

Okay so the EVGA GTX Card has a greater Core Clock and Memory clock so I would go for that simply because it will perform better than the Radeon Card. The Gtx 760 will be able to run essentially every game on High/Ultra except for the really graphic intensive games like Crysis 3 and such, but for Counter Strike, Battlefield, Lol, Dota or whatever you like to play it will perform brilliantly. It also supports 4k Resolution so if you do have a TV or monitor that supports that you can use that as well.Overall its a close call between the EVGA and MSI but the EVGA has better cooler and slightly better specs so I would go for that.

Now I agree because the clock speeds are better however when i was watching videos comparing the two earlier and also checking out the benchmarks, the Radeon almost always wins. How is this; is the bandwith, etc. more important than the clock speeds?

The Radeon is a newer card and has 3gb of GDDR5 memory compared to the other cards with just 2. So the fact that the Radeon wins isn't surprising, 33% more VRAM is pretty could and the price is nearly identical but in the end it's up to you. If you don't mind Radeon products go for it, I personally have a MSI Radeon R7 370 Gaming 4GB, which out performs most 960 and some 970 cards. So go with the Radeon if that's what you want I personally would because I love their products.
The clock speed is adjustable in all cards but some try to squeeze more out at the risk of high heat. My MSI card runs around ~50c idle but it's fans are controlled automatically so on standby they dont run to save power. Only on load or when they reach a certain temp do they run.

https://www.visiontek.com/graphics-cards/visiontek-radeon-r9-380-detail.html I found this and it looks promising. I found it for a price comparable to that of the 960 too (though it won't come with the $60 worth game :'( ) Do you think it will way outdo the 960 to the point where I should get it instead, and also how much louder do you think it will be?

Didn't mean to select best answer yet tbh mate. Yes the range is actually more like $185, which I was able to find the Visiontech for. Also, the VRAM is the same (2gb on both the MSI and Visiontech)
