I'm just building a new gaming PC and i'm wondering if the following GPU, CPU, MB and RAM etc. are compatible.

I'm looking at getting:

- Motherboard: MSI 970A-G43
- Processor: AMD FX-8320 (8-core)
- Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce GTX-960 4GB SuperSC ACX 2.0 + with black plate GDDR5 128bit
- RAM: Kingston HyperX FURY 16GB (2x8GB) 1600MHz DDR3 CL10 DIMM

If anyone who's confident with PC could answer that would be great and also if you have suggestions on these parts for better alternatives around the same price that would be greatly appreciated :) Thankyou.

Looks fine but where is the case and hard drive?? And I suggest that you use pc partpicker because it tells you if your parts are compatible.
By the way if you are going to overclock the FX-8320 then buy an aftermarket cooler such as the cooler master hyper 212 evo to keep your temperatures low but make sure your case is big enough to support it because the evo is a large cooler.

For gaming does intel still do better.Even an i3.

With these parts would i at least look at a different motherboard, one with cooling on the vrm's and with some overclocking potential.
For the ram would i like to see 1600mhz with a cas latency of 9 or better even 8,it should be possible for the same amount of money.
Nobody can really suggest other parts in the same price range when we don't know the prices for these and where bought.Maybe you could use the pcppartpicker if you think that works for you.Click "system build" and choose the components that are relevant.

You should change the CPU/MOBO/RAM/GPU to

Intel Core i5-4690K
ASUS Z97-A Mobo
GSkill TridentX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3-2400 RAM
Nvidia GTX 970 4GB or AMD R9 390 NITRO 8GB.

You voting my answer down is one thing, that's up to you,but suggesting parts that are way more expensive is just stupid.Do you have any idea about the budget someone is having?

Yeah those parts are way out of my budget of around $750 - $800 Aus$, and buying from Amazon in US

You're welcome.:D

You can post a build here by clicking [bb]=near "markup" at the center top and copying what's in the next window then pasting in a next post. Can we see what you're looking at too and maybe make a few other recommendations if needed.
