I will order a Corsair 450w 80 plus tomorrow, in the meantime is it okay if I use a old psu(500w colorsit) for powering my gpu? The thing is that this psu was working strangely. I was testing it the other day and didnt seem to be able to power up the hardisk, because it kept turning off(maybe because the sata connector didnt have the orange 3.3v wire?)The hardisk works fine with the 300w hp stock psu of the pc. However my father said he was using it, the 500w one, to power up a monitor and had rearly any problems. The new psu should be here in a few days anyways.
