Sooooo, I been looking around, and it seems like the Tablet isn't getting the Windows 10 upgrade
Is this true? and if it is? Why wont they be releasing it on the tablet. Thanks

Also having Windows 10 on the Surface 3 I would say Windows 8.1 is far better on a tablet. Many of the gestures which worked so well on 8.1 are not available, also its really buggy for things like the keyboard popping up and blocking your view of what you are typing where Win 8.1 would move and adjust the screen. I have actually been thinking of rolling back as Win 10 has hindered using the Surface 3
As a owner of a Surface RT and Surface 3 the Surface 3 with full Windows make RT pointless. I'm guessing there is just not enough support for RT to justify the cost of developing an ARM version of Win 10 and ARM as a long term platform for Windows just doesn't make sense.

The issue is the CPU. No Win 10 for that Tegra CPU.

I ordered one the other night, then was looking and realised :( Maybe Ill get my use out of it, then sell it and get a PRO. but they are really expensive tbh... Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Have to see ayy!

Find it annoying you can run x86 apps (Because of the CPU) but there is a Emulator so I might give that a go!

I cant get a Pro, way two expensive, £400+ for the first PRO, I don't think so... Im sure Ill be fine with the RT :D

But yeah, is pretty disappointing that I cant run x86 apps generally, so that emulator will come in handy!

Thanks though!

There are two versions of the Surface 3 (Surface 3 or Surface 3 Pro). Unless you really need a powerful laptop replacement then ignore the Pro.

The RT version is still good and even though most people will disagree I personally think its much better than iOS, can do much more than an iPad.

Oh I Have a Pretty good desktop just wanted something to mess around with, and probably use for college (Which it has, office and that) but just a bit disappointed about Windows 10 because I love it and, plus not really support for x86 apps. But ay, there still plenty of Store Apps!
